It’s not enough to know that there are people called destiny helpers and that they accelerate your progress in life. You must also know what to do to attract them and do it.
Your destiny helpers are the people who are placed in your life by God to help you fulfill your purpose and destiny. They can either be burden bearers, gifted people, people of influence, or divine connectors.
In this post, I will share with you seven steps to attract your destiny helpers.
How To Attract Your Destiny Helpers (With Scriptures)
1. Refocus your gaze on God
Before even going to getting blessed and receiving help, you must know that God will never give you anything that will take his place in your life. And He will never share His glory with any man.
If God is not at the centre of your heart and your ultimate help, you can’t receive help from Him. All blessings come FROM God, THROUGH men, to men.econd_paragraph -->
So destiny helpers are simply channels of God’s help, they are not the source of anything you get from them.
When you understand this, you won’t be caught in the trap of begging or worshipping people because you think they can help your destiny. You simply go to the God who has their heart in His hands and He will direct them to you.
So your trust must never be in men. “I will lift up my eyes to the hills- From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:1-2).
2. Identify your purpose
Next, before you can attract your destiny helpers, you must first identify your purpose. You only need help when you’re doing something.
Think of it in the natural realm, if your friend is sitting and calls on you to help them, the first question you ask is, “help you do what?” That’s the same question that must be answered before destiny helpers can be attracted to you.
After all, they are called “destiny” helpers. So you must discover that destiny and begin working toward it.
What is it that you are meant to do in life? In what ways were you wired to make contributions to your generation? What are your passions and talents? What are they pointing you towards? What problems do you want to solve?
Discovery of purpose isn’t something difficult or that requires long hours of vision and trance. God can choose to reveal it to you in that way but many times He won’t. It will most likely be an impression on your heart.
You’ll just have this “knowing” from the place of prayer that this is what I should be doing. Because “He [God] has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]” – Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMP
When you align yourself with His plan, you will attract the right people to help you fulfill it.
3. Be open and receptive
Don’t forget the principle we talked about earlier. All blessings come from God, THROUGH MEN, to men. If you choose to disregard the channels of God’s blessing, you’ll receive nothing from Him.
To attract your destiny helpers, you must be open and receptive to the people and opportunities that come your way. Your destiny helper will most likely come in an unlikely way.
They might not come with a flashy car or expensive watch. They might not have security guards following them and they surely won’t have any signposts on their heads saying, “destiny helper.”
You will be on better ground when you aren’t repulsive to people as they come. If you’re praying for help, be open to receiving help.
Don’t put on this false humility of saying people shouldn’t stress themselves trying to help you. Actually it’s pride— saying you can do it all by yourself. Receive help. Even in small things. That’s how the huge help will come.
4. Build strategic relationships
As a build-up to being open and receptive, you must intentionally build strategic relationships. Destiny helpers as we said are normal people, only that they’re in our lives for a reason.
They may be friends, family members, coworkers, or even strangers. The key to attracting your destiny helpers is to build relationships with these people.
And the key to building relationships is to make them feel loved and appreciated. Don’t just be about receiving and receiving. Be a contributor as well and honour people. Honour is what buys you access to people’s lives.
So Hebrews 13:2 says “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.”
And 1 Peter 2:17 says “HONOUR ALL MEN. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.”
When we have strong relationships with others, we have a support system that can help us achieve our goals.
5. Be willing to help others
In God’s Kingdom, you are not blessed for yourself. You are blessed so you can be a blessing to others (Genesis 12:1-3). Also, you are only entrusted with more blessings based on your level of faithfulness with the current. (Matthew 25:20-28).
If you only keep getting and praying for more, the flow will cease. While you are expecting your destiny helpers to come, you must recognize that you’re also someone’s destiny helper and you play your role.
Make sure your life is contributing to someone. Then God gives you more so you can contribute more.
6. Pray helper-provoking prayers
Nobody comes to help you unless they are sent or stirred. You can do all we have said but if God doesn’t stir the hearts of people toward you, they won’t come.
In Haggai 1:14, the Lord had to stir the spirit of the governor, high priest, and all the people to do HIS WORK. If there’s a need for stirring to do God’s work, there’s also a need in your case.
But God will not act on the earth except humans give him legal access. He will not act in your life unless you give Him the right of passage. This is where prayer comes in.
Dedicate time to pray that God stirs the heart of men in your favour. He really does. You may want to take this up as a prayer project and keep praying over a period till you see changes or get a conviction that your answer has come.
7. Be patient
This is another reason why your trust must be in God, not destiny helpers. He that believes, the Bible says, does not make haste (Isaiah 28:16).
Attracting your destiny helpers may not happen overnight. It takes time and patience to build relationships and find the right people to help you. God can choose to send them immediately or time His time. So trust His timing.
Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Keep praying, seeking God’s guidance, and building relationships, and your destiny helpers will come at the proper time.
Attracting your destiny helpers is a process that requires prayer, patience, and openness to the people and opportunities that come your way.
By identifying your purpose, building relationships, being willing to help others, and giving thanks and praise to God, you can attract the people who are meant to help you fulfill your destiny.
Remember, God has a plan for your life, and He will lead you to the right people at the right time. Trust in Him, and you will see His blessings unfold before your eyes
